Product Description (from their website):
"Math Facts NOW!" is a simple yet very effective program that will identify weak areas in your child's knowledge of the times tables and basic facts of math, and drill in those specific areas, automatically giving increased drills in those areas.
Unlike popular math programs that rely on cartoon characters to entertain children rather than educate them, "Math Facts NOW!" relies on solid and time-tested principles for the development of exceptional speed of recall and long-term retention of math multiplication tables ("times tables") and all other basic math facts.”
Completely customizable for your child, Math Facts Now is a fun way to practice math-drills. Treyton, my 5 year old, loves to do drills, he’s very competitive, so as long as you turn it into a game, he’s game (pun intended). Being able to use a computer program for his math drills was a nice change of pace for him instead of using flash cards, timed test, or writing the problems on the board. He was able to work the program easily on his own, once I opened it up.
Because he is so new at adding, I appreciated being able to decide exactly what kind of questions were going to be asked, how many questions he needed to answer, and how many times he needed to re-answer a wrong answer. I was also able to type in a reward (if he got 100%) which is a great feature for Treyton!!
Treyton is just getting into addition, so he wasn’t able to fully utilize all of the aspects of this program (like the multiplication and division drills), but from what he was able to complete, we both had a very positive experience with this product.
As an added bonus this program could easily be used with multiple children. In general, MFN was simple and easy to use, cutting out a lot of glitter and glam to get to the facts of math. For an easily distracted or frustrated student this is a feature worth buying for!
