TOS Review: Science Weekly

HSCrew468x60Animated Science Weekly is a leaflet style mailing sent to you and your student throughout the year to supplement into your school. Each issue focuses on a different science topics for your elementary child. Each issue is offered in 6 different levels (Kindergarten – Grades 5-6). This allows you, as the parent, to teach your children at different levels the same topic.

imageThe issue we received was on composting. Treyton and I focused on the Kindergarten level.

In addition to the printable issues, they also offer interactive guides available online which also make a great supplement to your science program.

 Things We Liked:

  • This was a nice supplemental activity to use in our school. Treyton really enjoyed it.
  • It was a comprehensive resource. There was writing, hands-on activities and discussion questions.
  • There were nice illustrations and large print which made it easy to read and enjoy.
  • Not a lot of prep work on the part of the teacher. Just a little bit of reading and I was ready to go.
