(Review) Snowball’s Arctic Adventures

Snowball’s Antartic Adventures by Tim Ostermeyer

Book Description:

“When Snowball realizes that all he can see is other Emperor Penguins, he decides to explore Antarctica with his Emperor Penguin friends. They tour Antarctica to find five other types of wildlife, locate beautiful Antarctica snow mountains, discover scenic icebergs, and treasure fun adventures.”

Book Review:

This book from cover to cover is full of photography by Tim Ostermeyer (a master photographer who has won over 250 first place awards for his photography). I wish that all books were this beautifully illustrated and fun to read.

The pictures were as educational and entertaining as the text – the best kind of children’s story book. Written in a rhyming pattern, it was easy to read, and made it more of a poetic read than a technical one.

The kids and I really enjoyed reading this book. I wish we would have had it a few months ago when we were going through our penguin unit, but now is better than never in this case.

Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book for the purpose of my review, the opinions expressed are my own.
