Letter P is for Princess

We had a very simple week learning about the letter Pp, doing only a few simple activities/printables, and her Explode the Code Book. I was not feeling all that well, as my morning sickness seemed to actually kick in this week… sigh…. Alexa learned, which is the most important, but I would have liked to make it more fun.

Fine Arts

The week prior to her Princess unit, Alexa went to a live princess theatre show with Daddy on Friday night. She loved it, it was a beautiful date night for the two of them.

Math:

I taught her how to count by twos this week, up to 10. We used quarters as our hands on manipulatives. I was amazed by how quick she picked it up.

Alexa is doing well with her shapes, she used to know all of her basic shapes, but after not practicing them for a while, she gets a few of them confused – square and triangle are probably the two toughest for her.
